Data deletion
How to have your Denver Media Tech account and the data behind it deleted — including anything we read from Google, Meta or any other platform you connected. Denver Media Tech is a product of Denver AI Tech.
Last updated: 5 October 2026
How to request deletion: email hello@denveraitech.com from the address on your account, with the subject Data deletion request. Include your business or workspace name, and say whether you want everything deleted or only a specific connected platform removed.
Sending from the account address is how we verify it is really you. If you no longer control that mailbox, email us anyway and we will agree another way to verify before deleting anything.
If you connected Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp, you can also ask through Meta. See Deletion requests sent by Meta below.
Deletion requests sent by Meta
If you ask for your data to be deleted when you remove Denver AI Tech from your Facebook settings, Meta sends us a deletion request. It identifies you only by the ID Meta gives you for our app, and it is signed by Meta. We check that signature before we act on it.
We then delete, straight away:
- The Meta access tokens you granted us for Meta Ads, Instagram and WhatsApp, including ones from connections you had already disconnected.
- The ad account, Instagram account and WhatsApp account IDs linked to those connections, in every workspace that used them.
- Any Instagram publishing permission requests for those Instagram accounts.
Meta then shows you a confirmation code and a link to a status page. That page shows only the status of the request and its dates: completed, nothing to delete, or needs review. It shows nothing else about you or your business.
Needs review means we hold Meta connections that are not linked to any Facebook account, such as ones made before we began recording who connected them, so we cannot confirm automatically that none of them are yours. We still delete everything we can match, and the request stays open until we have checked the rest. Email us with your confirmation code if you want to follow up.
We keep a record that the request was made, holding a one-way hash of your Meta ID and of the confirmation code, never the ID itself. That lets us prove we honoured the request.
A Meta request does not remove reports, drafts, approvals or history we made from Meta data, and does not close your Denver Media Tech account. To have those deleted too, email us at hello@denveraitech.com and quote your confirmation code.
What happens, and when
- Within 5 business days — we acknowledge your request in writing and confirm exactly what is in scope.
- Immediately on confirmation — we revoke and expire every stored OAuth token for your workspace, so no further reads can happen against your platforms.
- Within 30 days — the deletion completes and we email you a confirmation. Encrypted backups containing the deleted records are rotated out within a further 30 days.
There is no charge for this, and you do not have to give a reason.
What gets deleted
- Your user record and sign-in identity, and every workspace membership attached to it.
- The workspace itself: business profile, market, timezone, industry pack, brand-voice settings, notification and do-not-disturb preferences, delivery email, WhatsApp number and Slack channel.
- Every stored OAuth access token, refresh token and connected-account identifier — revoked first, then erased.
- Platform data we cached on your behalf: ad and analytics metrics, Google Business Profile insights and reviews, orders and revenue figures, CRM pipeline records, calendar bookings, competitor watchlist entries and learned metric baselines.
- Everything the platform generated for you: digests, drafted replies and captions, approval queue items and decisions, generated PDF reports and their stored files, in-app chat transcripts and the thumbs-up/down feedback on them.
- Your audit log and agent run history.
- If you filled in the free GMB Health Score form on this site, the lead record and generated PDF tied to that email address.
What we have to keep, and why
- Billing and invoice records, including the Stripe payment record, where tax and accounting law requires us to retain them — typically 7 years. These contain the billing contact and amounts, not your platform data.
- A minimal record that a deletion request was made and completed, so we can prove we honoured it.
- Aggregate, irreversibly anonymised counts that cannot be linked back to you or your business.
Nothing in that list lets us read your connected accounts. Access ends the moment the tokens are revoked.
Deleting one platform instead of everything
You do not need to close your account to cut off a single platform. In the dashboard, open Connections, find the platform and choose Disconnect. That immediately expires the stored token and removes the account binding, so we stop reading it. Email us if you also want the historical data we already read from that platform erased.
Revoking access at the source
You can also cut our access off from the platform's own settings, without waiting for us. This is the fastest possible stop:
- Google (Business Profile, Ads, Analytics, Search Console) — Google Account → Third-party apps with account access, then remove Denver AI Tech.
- Meta (Meta Ads, Instagram, WhatsApp) — Facebook Settings → Business Integrations, then remove Denver AI Tech. If you also ask for your data to be deleted there, Meta sends us the deletion request described above.
- Every other platform — remove the Denver AI Tech app or API key from that platform's own connected-apps or integrations screen.
Revoking upstream stops future access but does not by itself erase what we already stored. Apart from the Meta deletion request above, email us to complete the erasure.
